KuBa: Kulturbahnhof is an independent & non-profit art project, founded 2018 by Sharon Horodi & Mika Kammerer. KuBa is located on the site of the disused train station of the village Klein Warnow in Brandenburg.
We enter into dialogue with one another through regular exhibitions and events, open to the challenges of our time. With our Artist-in-Residence program we offer a space for inspiration & international encounters.
The station property and several other buildings in the village are under heritage protection. The site offers tranquility, but is part of a small neighborly community which has resided in this area for generations. A certain remoteness coincides with the remarkable spirit of the station as a place of arrival & departure, a space comprised of motion & emotion. This liveliness is maintained by the trains that pass occasionally.
